Aggregate Trading Volume

In stock market terms, the aggregate trading volume of a stock accounts for the full volume of shares in that stock transacted over the course of a trading day.

Aggregate trading volume provides a useful indicator of the liquidity of a stock. The higher the average aggregate trading volume of a stock over an extended period, the more liquid that stock is.
