Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT)

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) is operated by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) Group, one of the largest commodities derivatives exchange groups in the U.S. Trading on CBOT is carried out both electronically and in trading pits at the CBOT exchange in Chicago.

Derivatives traded include options, futures and swaps. The CBOT offers 22-hour trading days for certain investment products.

Trading hours (open outcry): Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. CT
Settlement cycle: T+3
