Is switching from one asset manager to a new one complicated? What do i need to consider before changing asset managers?

Greetings,

Contrary to what some asset managers may lead you to believe, moving to a new asset manager is not complicated.

Liquid assets like bonds can easily be transferred to a new asset manager. You can also continue to work with your preferred custodian bank if you so choose.

Investments in closed funds and direct shares are based on independent contracts which are not limited to a specific wealth manager.

If you want to change your custodian bank, you should be aware that transfer fees may apply. You can find more information about transfer fees here.
