Hi there,

Whether or not you pay a deductible on accident insurance claims depends on which kind of accident insurance you have.

Employment-based accident insurance, which you receive through your employer, covers the full cost of treatment without a deductible or coinsurance payment.

Health insurance accident coverage, which you are required to have if you are unemployed or for any other reason do not have employment-based accident insurance, merges seamlessly with you compulsory health insurance. The deductible and coinsurance payment applicable to your compulsory health insurance policy applies to the accident insurance as well.

Best regards from Moneyguru
