Good day,

According to Swisscard, the Wow card is the first prepaid card to be issued by Swisscard. The issuer anticipates rapid growth in the prepaid card market and is looking to capture a part of that market.

These are the most important fees, terms and conditions applicable to the Wow card:

Annual fee: CHF 39
Loading fee: 4% of the amount deposited in the prepaid account
Foreign transaction fee: 2.5%
Customer service phone line: CHF 1.90 per minute
Fee for transferring money from your prepaid account to another bank account: CHF 25

Age requirement: 18 years old or older
Spending limit: CHF 2500 per calendar year. CHF 1000 per transaction.
The card cannot be used for lottery, betting and casino transactions

Verdict: The 4% loading fee is exceptionally high. Adults aged 18 years old or older can save money by using an affordable credit card instead.

Best regards from Moneyguru
