I am looking for a really exclusive credit card which hardly anyone else has. Which would you recommend?

Hi there,

If you are a high net worth individual and are eligible to bank with one of Switzerland's private banks, you could consider getting a credit card issued by one of these. A number of Swiss private banks issue credit cards for their clients, and though the car benefits may not be extraordinary you can be sure that only a relatively small and wealthy group of people use them.

Alternatively, you can opt for one of the high-end charge cards from American Express. The Centurion card from American Express is fairly exclusive and comes with numerous benefits - but is generally offered to existing American Express Platinum cardholders on an invitation-only basis.

Many Swiss banks issue "platinum" credit cards which are generally considered exclusive. The American Express Platinum Charge Card is one of the most expensive of these, but also delivers some of the best value in terms of benefits. In global terms, holding a credit card branded by a Swiss bank - such as the Credit Suisse Platinum American Express which comes with the Credit Suisse Boniva Platinum bank package - lends a very definite air of exclusivity.

However, in addition to the prestige associated with a credit card, you should consider whether it delivers good value for money. You can compare credit cards and find detailed information about the benefits they provide using the moneyland.ch credit card comparison.

Best regards from Moneyguru
