I own my own apartment and one other apartment. I would like to get a loan towards a personal project. Will Swiss banks give me lower interest rates on loans because I am a landlord?

Greetings

A number of lenders in Switzerland offer loans with lower interest rates to homeowners than to non-homeowners. The reason for this is that homeowners are considered to pose less risk than average borrowers.

Lenders which offer special rates to homeowners include Bank-now (the Credit-now Casa loan), CreditGate24 and Cashgate.

If you are looking for a loan towards renovating or remodeling your home, you should consider getting a mortgage instead of a personal loan. Mortgages are generally cheaper.
