Dogecoin is a cryptocurrency which uses blockchain technology, like bitcoin. The biggest difference is that (like litecoin) dogecoin blocks are generated faster than bitcoin blocks. Because of its lower value and comical approach, doggecoin enjoys a strong following among people who like to make transactions in cryptocurrency. This is in contrast to bitcoin, which has largely been used by investors as a speculative instrument.
