I am looking to invest in physical assets and am looking into purchasing fine wine as an investment. This would be on a relatively small scale (around CHF 50,000). Does anyone have experience with wine as an investment, particularly with regards to taxation, importation/exportation and average value gains over time?

I don't know about the wine but I've invested in Swiss balsamic vinegar and rum and I'm pretty happy about it. Full disclosure I work in the company so I know how it works from the inside. I live in Switzerland.
