Swiss Average Rate (SAR)

The Swiss Average Rates (SARs) are reference interest rates which are based on the secured Swiss franc money market.

SARs are calculated for different terms which range from the overnight rate (SARON) to the 12-month SAR (SAR12M).

The Swiss Stock Exchange (SIX) calculates and publishes the Swiss Average Rates for each time frame.

The Swiss Average Rates are volume-weighted average interest rates which are based on completed transactions and representative quotes on the secured Swiss franc money market.
