Sleeping Beauty

In mergers and acquisitions, a “sleeping beauty” is a company which has high growth potential but is not achieving that potential in its current state. It may be a small or medium sized company that has not yet been discovered by potential acquirers, or an established corporation which is undervalued – allowing for an easy takeover.
