Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE)

The Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange is the primary stock exchange of Tanzania and lists the stocks of more than 25 companies. The exchange hosts around 10 brokers, with around 30 financial services providers participating in the exchange in various roles, with custodian accounts provided by Standard Chartered Bank and Stanbic Bank (Standard Bank), among others.

In addition to the Tanzanian companies listed on the DSE, the exchange also cross-lists a number of Kenyan companies which have primary listings on the Nairobi Securities Exchange. Securities listed on the exchange include equities, corporate bonds and government bonds.

The DSE All Share Index tracks exchange performance.
