Full coverage throughout Switzerland in the general wards of all listed hospitals with a service mandate and recognized tariff. In addition to Swiss hospitals, KPT partner hospitals in Germany near the border are available for selection.
The insurer can terminate the contract at the latest 3 months before the end of the contract or calendar year.
Amount of premiums depends on various factors such as age, gender and place of residence. Without hospital deductible. Discount for a 3-year contract, for prepayment and for using the KPTnet customer portal (including free internet legal protection insurance).
The insured persons receive CHF 20 per day for up to 42 days per 5 calendar years for spa therapies and CHF 20 per day for up to 30 days per calendar year for convalescent therapies.
Birth costs are covered throughout Switzerland in listed hospitals (general ward). For a birth at a birth centre: CHF 100 per day during max. 5 days. Waiting period: 270 days.
Cost of accomodation for an accompanying person up to CHF 50 per day during a maximum of 14 days.
