Botswana Stock Exchange

The Botswana Stock Exchange is the national securities exchange of Botswana. More than 20 local companies have primary listings on the exchange, which also hosts secondary listings for a number of companies with primary listings on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) or the London Stock Exchange (LSE).

In addition to shares, the exchange also lists corporate bonds and government bonds.

The Botswana Gaborone Index (BGSMDC) is the key indicator of market performance.
