Constant Maturity Swap (CMS)

A constant security swap is a type of swap in which one component of the swap uses a fixed or index-based rate, while the other component uses a rate which is based on a fixed maturity instrument. The rate of the second component of the swap is regularly reset to match that of the fixed maturity instrument.
