DigitalNote (XDN)

DigitalNote (XDN) is an open-source cryptocurrency designed to provide anonymity and fair proof of work mining. It is based on blockchain technology and combines cryptocurrency transfers with the ability to send instant, fully-encrypted messages.

The inclusion of an encrypted messaging service sets DigitalNote apart from cryptocurrencies which do not provide a service outside of acting as mechanisms for the storage and transfer of value. In this way, DigitalNote was an early application of a utility token.

DigitalNote was built around the concept of anonymity, and token and message transfers are recorded anonymously on the blockchain.
