Rental deposit guarantee
General information:
Rent deposit insurance for private tenants. There are separate products for commercial tenants, i.e. customers with a business premises. Residence in Switzerland mandatory.
Fees:
Annual premiums are equal to 5% of the deposit amount. Additional administrative fees come to 20 francs per year.
A one-time signing fee between CHF 50 and CHF 180 francs (including stamp duties) applies in the first calendar year (until December 31).
For persons up to 30 years of age, there is a 50% discount on the fees in the first calendar year.
Notice period:
No prior notice is required.
Minimum term:
The minimum term is 1 year.
Maximum deposit:
There is no maximum deposit.
