NASDAQ Copenhagen

The Københavns Fondsbørs, or Copenhagen Stock Exchange was the stock exchange of Denmark before it was renamed to NASDAQ Copenhagen shortly after its parent company, OMX merged with Nasdaq, Inc. in 2008.

Over 140 companies list their stocks on the exchange. As on other NASDAQ markets, trade is carried out electronically.

The OMX Nordic 40 index (OMXN40) indicates the performance of 40 key companies listed on NASDAQ Copenhagen and other NASDAQ Nordic exchanges (Helsinki, Stockholm, Iceland, Riga, Vilnius and Tallinn).

Trading hours: Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CET (UTC+1)
Settlement cycle: T+2
