neon is a Swiss account app. The digital account can be opened and used directly via smartphone.
neon 2017 was launched by four founders (Jörg Sandrock, Julius Kirscheneder, Simon Youssef and Michael Noorlander). In March 2019, neon was officially launched.
Meanwhile, neon already has more than 240,000 users (as of October 2025).

Is neon secure?
The private account is created with the Swiss Hypothekarbank Lenzburg and is as secure as with other Swiss banks.
Deposits on the account are protected up to 100,000 Swiss francs by the Swiss deposit insurance company Esisuisse.
