Potcoin (POT) is an open source cryptocurrency which uses a proof of stake system to generate blocks. Potcoin is marketed as a cryptocurrency designed to serve the legal cannabis industry.

Potcoin wallet holders who make the computing power of their devices available to the Potcoin network are rewarded with newly-created Potcoins equivalent to approximately 5% of the amount of Potcoin they hold.
