Swiss Real Estate Datapool (SRED)

The Swiss Real Estate Datapool (SRED) is a database in which information relating to real estate transactions is recorded for modeling purposes. The database is maintained by an association of the same name which was founded by UBS, the Zürcher Kantonalbank, and former Swiss bank Credit Suisse.

The SRED is the publisher of the Eigenheim-Index Pool, which aggregates data relating to real estate financing by participating banks. The index provides an indicator of demand for real estate financing in Switzerland.
