Banking package for young professionals

General information:

UBS banking package for students. Included in the package: UBS private account, UBS youth savings account (several possible), UBS Debit Mastercard or UBS Visa Debit, UBS prepaid card and/or credit card, UBS Online Services with UBS e-banking and UBS Mobile Services.
Module for cash withdrawals Switzerland: Costs an additional CHF 2 per month (free of charge for the first 6 months). 2 cash withdrawals per month at Swiss third-party ATMs in CHF are included. Module for cash withdrawals worldwide: Costs an additional CHF 5 per month (free of charge for the first 6 months). 4 CHF withdrawals per month at third-party ATMs in Switzerland, 2 cash withdrawals abroad per month are included. Each additional cash withdrawal at ATMs of other banks costs CHF 2 in Switzerland or CHF 5 abroad.

Term of the bank package: maximum 2 years.
Graduates: The degree must not have been completed more than 2 years ago.
After your 24th birthday, automatic change to the UBS me banking package for individuals, for graduates 2 years after opening the UBS me banking package for young professionals, at the latest after your 32nd birthday.

For customers exclusively using online banking, the account management costs CHF 48.00 per year.
For others, the account management costs CHF 96.00 per year.
In the first year, there is a discount on the account management fee:
For customers exclusively using online banking, the account management costs CHF 24.00 in the first year.
For others, the account management in the first year costs CHF 48.00.

Private account interest rate:

0% per year.

Account opening:

The account opening is free of charge.

Closing of account:

The closing of account is free of charge.

Annual account closure:

The annual account closure is free of charge.

Statements of account:

The monthly statements of account by mail are subject to charges.

Incoming payment:

Incoming payment in CHF are free of charge.

Outgoing payment (Switzerland):

Electronic payment orders in CHF are free of charge.

SEPA payment:

Fee of CHF 0.30 per electronic SEPA payment order in EUR.

Non-SEPA payment (abroad):

Fee of CHF 5.00 per electronic non-SEPA payment order in foreign currency.

Direct debit (LSV) Switzerland:

Electronic payment orders by direct debit (LSV) within Switzerland are free of charge.

Standing order Switzerland:

Electronic standing orders in CHF within Switzerland are free charge.

Annual fee debit card:

Debit card: There is no annual fee to pay.

Purchase Switzerland:

Debit card: Purchases in Switzerland in CHF are free of charge.

Purchase abroad:

Debit card: For purchases in foreign currencies, there is a fee of 2% of the purchase amount with a minimum of CHF 1.00.

Cash withdrawal Switzerland:

Cash withdrawal at ATMs of other banks in CHF: CHF 2 per withdrawal. Cash withdrawal at UBS ATMs: free of charge.

Cash withdrawal abroad:

Per cash withdrawal abroad, there is a fee of CHF 5.00.

Savings account interest rate:

Up to CHF 50,000: 0.05% per year.
From CHF 50,000: 0% per year.

Withdrawals up to CHF 50,000 per year are allowed without notice.
6 withdrawals per year are free of charge, additional withdrawals cost CHF 5 per withdrawal.
There is a notice period of 3 months for larger amounts.

Credit card:

Different credit cards available, for instance Mastercard Silber / Visa Classic. Annual fee included. Gold and Platinum credit card at half price for the first year.

Purchase abroad in foreign curency:

For purchases abroad or online in foreign currencies there is an administrative fee of 1.75% of the purchase amount.

Reward program:

KeyClub Bonus Program: 50 KeyClub points as a welcome gift. Cashless payments with the UBS Prepaid Card: 5 points per semester for at least 10 payments. Spending with UBS prepaid / credit cards: 1 point per CHF 100 (max. 10 KeyClub points per quarter).
