General

General information:

Additional to cancellation cost and personal assistance insurance, a vehicle assistance insurance, luggage, legal protection, medical expenses or rental car excess insurance is available for an extra fee.
Only for persons resident in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Termination of contract:

The insurance is extended automatically if it is not cancelled at least 3 months before it ends.

From a sum insured of CHF 100,000, it is possible to include a deductible (CHF 200, CHF 400, CHF 500, CHF 1000 or CHF 5000).

Vehicle assistance:

Vehicle assistance insurance services are covered in Switzerland, in all European countries and the countries bordering the Mediterranean, excluding Russian Federation, Crimea peninsula, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Syria, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Lebanon, Libya, Israel and Cyprus. Overseas territories of European countries are not included in the local scope of application.
It covers, among other things, roadside assistance, towing, vehicle recovery, parking fees, vehicle repatriation, additional transport costs, shipping costs for spare parts abroad, rescue and recovery costs and search costs up to CHF 20,000.

Accomodation & catering:

Additional costs in the case of an insured event are covered.

Interruption and replacement:

Unused part of the trip is covered.

Luggage:

As supplemental insurance available.

Travel legal protection:

As supplemental insurance available.

Medical expenses:

The supplementary module “Medical expenses abroad” can only be taken out in combination with the basic module “Personal assistance”.
No coverage in Switzerland.
