Private individuals are insured. Within the scope of individual insurance: the policyholder. Within the scope of household insurance: the policyholder and those persons who living permanently with him/her in the same household. Additionally: children in education and minor children of these persons, even if they do not live in the same household.

Choice of legal representation:

Choice of legal representation: the insurance company has the right to reject a lawyer proposed by the insured person. The insured person may then propose three lawyers from different law firms in the relevant jurisdiction, from which the insurance company can select the lawyer to be appointed.

Termination of contract:

The insurer can terminate the contract: 1 month before the payment of the premiums is due.
The contract can be terminated by the policyholder at any time with immediate effect.

Contract duration:

Minimum contract duration: 1 year. The contract will automatically renew for another year unless termination notice is given.

Waiting period:

Waiting period depending on the legal area: None up to 1 year. The waiting period does not apply in the case of prior insurance of the same risk and seamless transfer in terms of time.
