- The annual deflation rate remains constant throughout the entire term. You may also enter a negative deflation rate, in which case the inflation rate is calculated. You can also accomplish this using the inflation calculator.
- How terms are calculated: The time span required for the final price to be reached is calculated in years and months. The calculator assumes exponential price decreases throughout each year.
- Values entered are not rounded. Rounding is used for price results (to the nearest 5 centimes), deflation and purchasing power results (to the second decimal) and deflation terms (to the nearest month). Rounding differences may occur.
