Can you please tell me whether medium term notes offered by Swiss banks are covered by depositor protection guarantees? As far as I know, up to 100,000 francs of money deposited in Swiss banks is guaranteed so you don't lose it if the bank collapses. Does this also hold true for medium term notes?

Medium-term notes are included in the 100,000 Swiss francs of depositor protection provided by Esisuisse on a per-customer basis.
