I am interested in using an ETF to tap the growth of Bitcoin rates. Are there any Bitcoin ETFs?

Hi there,

Currently, there are no exchange traded funds (ETFs) which use Bitcoin as their underlying asset. However, Vontobel offers a Bitcoin certificate (SSPA: 1300) which is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. NASDAQ Sweden lists the Bitcoin Tracker One XBT, an exchange traded note (ETN) based on Bitcoin.

There are a number of ETFs which include Bitcoin in their portfolio - such as the Web x.0 ETF (NYSEARCA: ARKW) and the ARK Innovation ETF ((NYSEARCA: ARKK) from U.S. firm Ark Invest. So far, no dedicated Bitcoin ETFs have been approved.

Best regards from Moneyguru
