I would like to take a large amount of money to Italy in cash. Are there any restrictions on carrying cash money to Italy from Switzerland?

Hi there,

You can carry up to EUR 10,000 from a non-European Union country into a European Union member country without making a customs declaration. If you carry more than that amount, you must declare it at customs upon entry.
