What is the best Swiss broker for trading U.S. stocks? As in: which broker has the lowest fees and charges for U.S. stock trades and the best platform? Would you recommend Swissquote, UBS, Postfinance, Credit Suisse, Strateo, Saxo Bank or some other broker for U.S. trading?

Greetings,

Most Swiss brokers offer access to major U.S. stock exchanges, but costs vary between brokers. The two main costs you need to consider are transaction fees (which include brokerage fees) and custody fees (fees for securities accounts at custodian banks).

Some brokers - like Saxo Bank and Cornèrtrader - charge a fee of 1 cent per share traded. Other brokers charge fees as a percentage of transacted values.

The moneyland.ch Swiss broker comparison makes it easy to find the best broker for your specific needs. Choose the profile "US equities" to find the cheapest brokers for U.S. trading based on average use. You can find the best broker for your specific trading needs by selecting the "Individual profile" and entering the volume of securities you expect to hold and trades you expect to make.

The comparison accounts for possible fee waivers, discounts and flat-rate fees.

Best regards from Moneyguru
