I will be moving to Zurich from Sargans and it seems my health insurance premiums will go up around 30 francs per month when I move. Times that by 3 of us and I'll be paying around 100 francs more every month. As far as I know, you are allowed to cancel your insurance policy when premiums change. Is this also the case when premiums change due to a move?

Hi Gareth. Although you are normally entitled to cancel your compulsory health insurance policy ahead of the regular termination date if premiums change, this does not apply to a change in premiums caused by a move to another premium district.
