My car was seized by debt collectors a few weeks ago and in the meantime it has been badly damaged by water. Can I claim on my car insurance even though my car has been seized?

According to Article 56 of the Swiss federal law governing insurance contracts, insurance providers must pay out benefit for seized property to the relevant debt collection office.
