When I got my Swiss 3a life insurance policy I had a family to support and chose low premiums which I could afford to pay at that time. Now that my kids are self-sufficient I can afford to pay a lot more to get more equity in my policy. Can I change my premiums or should I get another policy or account for the rest of my retirement savings?

Hi there,

Communicating a simple request to your insurance provider is usually all it takes to increase your 3a life insurance policy premiums. You can change your premiums at any time, within the limits of the federal limit on 3a contributions.
