In 2018 I worked in Switzerland and paid 2080 francs with a deduction of 171 francs for taxes into a pension fund. I have what looks like a statement form, with my balance (it's all in German and I can't read it). I now reside in Australia and am wondering how I claim this money back?

Simply contact your pension fund. Telephone or write to the pension fund that you would like to have your money transferred, since you have left for Australia. In the case of leaving for Australia, you can already have all the money paid out (depening on the country, it is more complicated).
