Can an insurance company make me take a DNA test in order to get a life insurance policy in Switzerland?

Greetings,

In Switzerland, life insurance providers have no right to request that you take a DNA test when applying for life insurance.

However, if you have already taken a voluntary DNA test in the past, insurers could request that you present the result of the test along with other medical reports. Note that insurers can only request this if the value of your combined life insurance policies exceeds 399,999 Swiss francs (or 39,999 francs in disability benefits).
