I use a prepaid card (not a credit card) and usually keep around 3,000 or 4,000 francs on it for our flight and hotel bookings. Should I declare that money as wealth in my tax return?

Hi there,

Large amounts of money held in prepaid card accounts must be declared just like money held in other types of bank accounts. However, not all prepaid card issuers provide end-of-year account statements automatically. You may need to request these from your card's issuer and possibly pay a fee.

Best regards from Moneyguru
