Does Migros Bank charge fees for closing bank accounts?

Migros Bank does not currently charge fees for the opening and closing of bank accounts. However, the bank does charge a fee for the termination of a banking relationship. If you only hold a single account at Migros Bank and do not use other MIgros Bank products, then closing your account may qualify as a banking relationship termination.

The banking relationship termination fee charged by Migros Bank is 15 Swiss francs (plus transfer fees) when this is done remotely and 30 Swiss francs when you terminate and cash out your account at a Migros Bank branch office.
