I reached retirement age before my husband and enjoyed my full pension for some years until my husband retired. Since then, we have had to make do on one-and-a-half pensions instead of two because of the limit on pensions for married people.

What would happen if either myself or my husband were to pass away? Would the remaining person benefit from a full pension again, or would they still receive just 75% of their pension?

In the event that you or your spouse died, the cap would fall away and the surviving partner would receive their full pension again.
