Hi there,

Different rules apply to compulsory health insurance and supplementary health insurance.

If you fail to pay premiums for supplementary health insurnace, the insurer will send you a reminder and then a final notice. If you fail to pay premiums within 14 days of receiving the final notice, your insurance will be put on hold and you will not be covered.

If you fail to pay compulsory health insurance premiums, your health insurance coverage will be reduced to cover emergencies only.
