My health insurance company has started charging me premiums in advance instead of at the end of each month as I have done until now. I would have to readjust my budget planning to accomodate this. Can I contest this change?
Hi there,
You cannot contest the move to advance premium payments because Swiss health insurance laws require advance payment of health insurance premiums.
If the health insurance company made a similar change of their own initiative and this change contravened your agreement, you could simply refuse to sign the updated contract or to contest the change.
