Question is, should I lease it or get a loan? Any input welcome, the sooner the better.

Not getting any kind of loan or lease is always the cheapest option because you do not have to pay any extra costs.
But to answer your question: Personal loans are usually more affordable than leases. Just make sure to choose the most affordable loan which you are eligible for.
