Note: How you plan to use the money generally has no effect on the interest rates you get. If you are approved for a personal loan, you can spend the money on something other than furniture if you so choose.
There are no Swiss lenders which will deny your loan application or give you a better rate based on how you expect to use the money. Whether your application is approved and which interest rate you pay depend on your creditworthiness.
If you own your own home, on the other hand, you may be able to get loans with exceptionally low interest rates at some lenders because owning a home boosts your creditworthiness.
