Does a woman stand a chance of getting a loan if she is a housewife? If so, which Swiss banks will lend to housewives?
Hi there,
Lenders normally do not provide loans to housewives or househusbands unless the person can show that they receive a steady income. The minimum income required varies between lenders, but if you earn less than 2500 francs per month, your chances of being approved for a loan are almost null.
If you have a spouse or legal partner and they earn enough income to qualify for a loan, you can apply for a loan together.
