I bought tickets to a concert on a classifieds website for around 150 francs. I feel lucky because the concert was totally booked out but at the same time I felt ripped off when my friends told me that they only paid around 50 francs buying the tickets directly from the ticket agent. Can I claim a refund of the 100 franc markup?

Hi there,

Second hand items can generally be sold at a markup on the original price. This is a private commercial agreement between you and the seller, just like any other purchase. Make sure to check the going price of an item before you agree to a second-hand offer.

Best regards from Moneyguru
