I made my first legal expenses insurance claim and the insurance company told me they would not cover costs because the expenses are too low for coverage. Is this the norm with Swiss legal insurance?

Many legal insurance providers only cover legal expense claims when these exceed a minimum amount. This minimum amount may be anywhere from CHF 300 to CHF 2000, making the insurance coverage worthless for minor legal cases.
