Is there any way I can auction off a mortgage or mortgage application in Switzerland? What are the options and how much does it cost?

There are a number of service providers in Switzerland which let you provide your information and receive offers from multiple banks for your mortgage. In this sense, you can put your mortgage on "auction" and let lenders place their bids.
These auction services are typically run by mortgage brokers, which either recieve commissions for onboarding you as a mortgage customer or charge you a fee for their service. Genuine auctions on which you can sell your mortgage on your own terms and find bidders willing to meet your terms do not currently exist in Switzerland.
