Hi there,

Swiss banks have become more hesitant about taking on non-resident customers in recent years. In the best case your application will be accepted. You can use the private account, savings account, brokerage account and asset management comparisons provided by moneyland.ch to list and compare Swiss bank accounts.

Most Swiss banks charge additional administrative fees to non-resident who hold accounts with them. These non-resident fees typically amount to several hundred Swiss francs per annum. Here too, some banks make exceptions for customers who meet certain criteria (minimum assets at bank, asset management customers). You can get an overview of non-resident fees and download a non-resident fee comparison with detailed information (as a PDF) in the moneyland.ch guide to non-resident fees.

Best regards from Moneyguru

Hello,

In recent years, it has been difficult to open a Swiss account.

What is the minimum amount of money Swiss banks require to open a foreign account according to the new standards?

Apart from UBS and Credit Swiss what other banks accept foreign accounts from EU citizens.

Many thanks
