After I overdrew my bank account the direct debit for my rent didn't go through. Do I have to worry about getting kicked out or is there a grace period for rental payments?
Hi there,
Before your landlord can terminate your rental agreement, they have to issue a warning. from the time this warning is placed in your mailbox or given to you in person, you have 30 days to pay the money owed. Only if you do not repay the debt within the 30 day period can the landlord terminate your rental agreement.
