Paid holiday during Swiss school holiday?

Now that my daughter is in school, I am wondering whether I can claim my paid holiday during the summer when my daughter has school holiday. In the past my boss usually gave me holiday during September or March, as the high season is summer and winter. Now I would like to take holiday when my daughter takes holiday in summer and winter. Do I have a right to claim it?

While the final say in when you can use your annual vacation entitlements rests with your employer, employers are required to show preference to parents in allowing them to take vacation during school holidays when possible.
