I bought a console for 50% off the tag price as it was a display model. It couldn't play one of the games I use, so I returned it to the electronics store. The thing is, they only want to refund me the 50% price and not the actual tag price. Can I demand a full refund up to the actual going price for the console?

When the option of getting a refund is offered, you can only claim a refund equal to the amount you paid for a purchase, as stated on your receipt.
