Are there any spread betting services in Switzerland? If not, what is the closest Swiss equivalent to spread betting?

Hi there,

In Switzerland, spread betting is primarily accomplished using contracts for difference (CFDs) and similar derivatives. As with other securities, no capital gains tax applies to increases in the value of CFDs when these are used for private investment (professional investors pay capital gains tax). Profits earned on speculative actions which are not classified as securities investments may be subject to income tax.
